Time on My Hands

Time to appreciate.

Everyone should have a brother named Tom and sisters named Julia and Mary. The world would be so much better. And children, too. And friends named A to Z with lots of C's, J's, K's. Thanks for being friends who care about Sarah, who lend an ear, give a hand, wipe your eyes, and spread cheer. Extend peace.

Beyond our comprehension is love shared when not deserved. All we are asked is to love one another. And to forgive as we're reminded --- 70 times seven. If you need a reminder see the dramatic artwork over the fireplace in the SEAS Commons. (KG)

Find words of encouragement: "Life must be lived forwards, but it is only understood backwards." (KM). I pondered and then sought more. Google, of course. It led me to another person's blog.

And with time on my hands I pass on gifts from KG and KM:
1. See KG's art in the Commons at SEAS and
2. Investigate KM's proffered quotation: "Life must ..."

Google took me here http://goldendaze-ginnie.blogspot.com/2007/06/whose-hand-is-this.html

Cut and paste it to see where living it forward brings joy.

But only if you have time on your hands.......

Great stuff, Rich! I love the little discoveries of life and I wish I looked more often. Things are going fine here on the left coast. We are careening toward bankruptcy, but it is amazing how normal it feels. Love to the family, tom
