HelloI've taken seven entries off-line in order to move past my own personal frustration, sadness, and anxiety and put my eyes back on Sarah's journey. Writing is therapeutic for me but my heart is with Sarah as she disappears on her journey to nowhere good.
If you know her reach out to her. She is conflicted, nearly powerless, and trapped. Little by little she is losing everything as she disappears from family and friends, withdraws from educational endeavors, and disposes of material items.
She may not respond, but sometime over the next 3 days, text her or call her. Forget Facebook, she has limited web access. Keep it light, let her know you care.
Resources are limited yet she still crosses into darkness. Some actions are risky and not without consequences. She'll deny it.
Most telling was her "no show" last night when Mom and Gma got here from FL. Despite her promise to join us for dinner she was watching a movie from way up there somewhere.
And keep her in your prayers.

Hi Uncle Rich,
As Jen and I have read your blog over these many months, we have often said that we wished that we could do something other than pray. If you think it would be helpful for Sarah to hear from me, I would love to talk with her or text her just to let her know how much we love her. Feel free to send her cell phone number to our home e-mail address which I think that you have. We think about you, Susan, Sarah and your entire family every day, and please know that you are in our always in our prayers. Be good to yourself and take care of each other. We love you. Sean
P.S. There is a song by The Fray that is titled "You Found Me" that always makes me think of Sarah. Parts of it are dark, but it always seems to give me a sense of hope. Sometimes that is all we have.
