Three hundred fifty miles to Tennessee, about an hour west of Nashville. The drive got us settled and prepared for the unknown. Hotel stop first and then straight to the Ranch. After check in we were off to see Sarah for 30 minutes until the first family session.By the time Part I of the weekend was finished the full moon, a blood moon, was rising slowly. Among the dark Tennessee hills the moon's fire blazed and guided our winding path through the hills back to the hotel.
Despite the uncertainty of my mock weather report yesterday, I'm happy to report today's family meeting occured on a clear day. I could see forever in eyes that were less cloudy than I've seen in months. Hugs were warm; must have been the dew that added a little moisture on my cheek. Southerly breezes drifted lazily in the treetops. Tomorrow there is no rain in the forecast as the barometer of things to come is steady. Pressure remains constant, so tomorrow's high will be in our hearts.
The journey continues. A little ray of sunshine, a little bit of soul; just a touch of the Wizard's magic. Hope reigns, tonight.
